Primary school Ostrava -Bělský les, Dvorského 1 is allowance organisation established by statutory city Ostrava. The number of its pupils gets around 500, there is about 44 pedagogical and other staff. Primary school provides basic education settled by Czech law for education of children of that age with a strong concentration on quality and enjoyability of education. There is modern equipment and modern organisation of the classrooms (classroom are tailor made to its purpose as much as possible) in the school and the school staff provides pupils with quite a lot of regular free time activities focused on craft, handicraft, art, sport, cooking and other topics which are mostly offered according to the interests of the children etc. Besides these regular free time activities school focus is to support pupils´ journalism skills -writing school journal, almanac.
